Mid century modern style takes its cue from the 1950s and 60s: clean lines, graphic shapes, and a retro palette of mustard, teal, orange, olive and warm wood tones. Mid century art is often playful and optimistic, with simple forms and confident colour.
This collection includes geometric abstracts, stylised figures, retro still life, vintage cars and sunny scenes that suit mid century living rooms, studies and dining areas.
Styling tips
Pair with walnut or teak furniture and brass lighting.
Pick out the mustard, teal or orange in a cushion or vase.
A set of 2 or 3 graphic prints suits a long sideboard wall.
